1. Who is responsible

LastWhen (the “App”) is operated by Szymon Niemiec, the controller of personal information processed to operate the App, manage purchases and provide support. Contact: [email protected].

This policy covers the current LastWhen mobile app and our support communications. It explains the difference between information kept on your device and information received by us or our service providers. You do not need a LastWhen account. This policy is a notice, not a request for blanket consent.

2. Your trackers and history stay on your device

LastWhen stores tracker names, icons, colours, log dates and times, notes, reminder settings and calculated timing estimates locally. It also stores preferences such as language and appearance. Calculations about your usual timing run on your device.

The current App does not upload your tracker database to our servers, synchronize it through a LastWhen account, or send tracker names and notes to an AI service. We cannot remotely read or restore that local database. There is no account-based cloud backup, collaboration or data-import feature in the current version.

Device backups or transfers provided by Apple, Google or another service you use may include App data, depending on your settings. Those copies are separate from LastWhen's own storage and are governed by that provider's terms and your device settings.

3. Reminders, widgets and exports

• Reminders: with your device permission, LastWhen schedules local notifications. The operating system processes their content, which can include a tracker name and timing information. The App does not use a remote push-notification server for these reminders.
• Widgets: on supported Apple devices, selected tracker information is copied to storage shared between LastWhen and its widget extension. This can include tracker identifiers, names, icons, last-log dates and timing estimates. It is used to display and update the widget.
• Visibility: notification previews and widgets may reveal information on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Use neutral tracker names, hide notification previews or remove widgets if other people can see your device.
• Exports: choosing Export CSV or Export JSON creates a file in the App's cache and opens your device's share sheet. The file can contain tracker names, dates, notes and other history. It goes to a destination only when you choose one. Cached copies can remain until the operating system clears them or App data is removed. Copies you save or share must be managed separately.

Exports are portable records, not a promise of automatic restoration into the App. Do not share files containing health information or information about other people unless appropriate and lawful.

4. Product analytics

This section describes LastWhen builds with Settings → Data & Privacy → Optional analytics. In these builds, configured PostHog analytics is on by default after the saved preference is loaded, unless you previously turned it off. Earlier builds without this control kept PostHog disabled. Publishing this policy does not update an installed app or turn analytics on remotely.

We use PostHog to understand basic feature use and purchase-flow problems. You can turn Optional analytics off or back on at any time without losing free features or purchased access. An earlier saved refusal is preserved. Default activation, installing the App and accepting this policy are not records of consent and do not replace consent where the law requires it.

When enabled, analytics includes opening or returning to the App, viewing a predefined screen category, creating a tracker, saving an in-app entry, opening the Pro screen, purchase actions and outcomes, and previewing or applying appearance choices. Events may contain a screen category, plan/package identifier, displayed price, predefined outcome/error category, theme/companion identifiers, event timestamps, random installation/session identifiers, SDK version, app version/build and operating-system name/version. Event timestamps reveal when an interaction occurred; tracker creation/save events do not include a tracker ID, name, note or saved log date.

These records are pseudonymous, not necessarily anonymous: the random analytics ID can connect events from the same installation. We do not send your name or email to PostHog or combine its identifiers with RevenueCat customer identifiers. We do not send tracker names, notes, tracker histories, reminder content or exports. We do not record screens, keystrokes, audio or video, or enable automatic touch/screen capture or automatic crash and console-log collection. Purchase errors use predefined categories, not raw error text. Analytics is not used for advertising or cross-app advertising measurement.
